The two Gala Concerts are a public celebration of youth music to cap off the festival.

The 2011 dates are:

• Friday 19th August, 4pm (Chamber Orchestras and Symphony Orchestras)
• Friday 19th August, 7pm (Stage Bands and Concert Bands)

Both concerts will be held in the Holy Trinity Cathedral and admission is by general admission ticket. Tickets cost $15 for one concert, or $25 for both concerts.

At least 3-4 of the best groups from each category will be selected by the adjudicators for the Gala Concerts. Each group will have a maximum 10-minute performance time. Groups chosen will be notified as soon as possible after the heats have finished.
